Cookie Policy

What cookies and similar technologies we use on this website, why we use them, and how you can manage your preferences.

Last updated: 7 October 2026

First-time visitors see a cookie notice. You can accept optional analytics and advertising measurement cookies, use necessary cookies only, or open detailed settings at any time.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. They help websites remember preferences, keep sessions secure and understand how pages are used.

2. How we use cookies

On internetremovals.com we use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • keep essential site features working (necessary);
  • remember your cookie preferences;
  • measure aggregated traffic and journey events if you opt in to analytics.
  • measure which advertising campaigns lead to genuine enquiries if you opt in to advertising measurement.

We do not use optional advertising cookies to sell your personal information. For how personal data is handled more broadly, see our Privacy Policy.

3. Cookie categories

Necessary. Required for the website to function. These include storing your cookie consent choice and supporting security or load balancing where applicable. They cannot be switched off through our banner.

Analytics (optional). Help us understand which pages and flows are useful (for example Get Help funnel steps) so we can improve the site. These run only if you accept analytics cookies. Analytics events are designed to avoid collecting enquiry free text, names, emails, phone numbers, URLs or evidence details.

Advertising measurement (optional). Google Tag Manager and Google Ads help us attribute genuine enquiries to ads and improve campaign relevance. Storage and personalised-ad signals are denied by default and enabled only when you choose this category.

4. Examples

  • ir_analytics_consent records your analytics choice for up to 30 days. With analytics enabled, ir_lead_identity links public website activity to your HubSpot contact after you submit your details. This cookie lasts up to 30 days and contains a random identifier, not your email address. Turning analytics off stops this activity sync.
  • ir_cookie_consent (local storage) - stores your cookie preference version and whether analytics and advertising measurement are allowed.
  • ir_advertising_consent records your advertising measurement choice for up to 30 days.
  • ir_lead_attribution (first-party cookie and local storage) - preserves the first and most recent campaign parameters, landing page and referring site so an enquiry can be attributed to its source after you allow advertising measurement. It does not store form answers and is removed if you withdraw that consent.
  • Theme / UI preferences - may use local storage so the site remembers display settings on this device.
  • Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads support consent-aware analytics and advertising measurement. Google consent signals default to denied and update from your Cookie settings choice.

5. Managing and opting out

You can manage cookies in three ways:

  • Use Cookie settings on this page or in the site footer to change your choice at any time.
  • Choose Necessary only on the first-visit banner to opt out of all optional cookies.
  • Control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may affect site functionality.

Withdrawing analytics or advertising measurement consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

6. Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy when our technologies or providers change. Check the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
